The Tallow Chandler’s Hall are our hosts for the Christmas Hospitality Network Lunch. This event is usually a sell out, we recommend you book early.
We are fortunate to have the historic Tallow Chandlers’ Hall at Dowgate Hill, operating since 1672, an excellent space to allow us all to celebrate our end of year event.
The Tallow Chandlers’ Company can trace its roots back to the 13th century when it was originally formed as a religious fraternity, gaining full livery status in 1462. The Company has been on this site since 1476 and the present Hall dates from 1672, making it one of the three oldest Livery Halls in the City. It sits on the buried walls of the Roman Governor’s Palace a stone’s throw from the London Stone, the ancient heart of London.
Our lunch will be provided by the talented team at Life’s Kitchen.
To make the event even more special, we are planning a festive raffle. We would be very grateful for any contributions of raffle prizes—big or small—that could help bring extra cheer to the celebration.
